The short answer

Ask our NeuroFicio team for current assessment and session fees for your care format and location. Insurance reimbursement must be confirmed separately with your plan; this article does not establish Medicare participation or coverage for our services.

This guide separates the provider’s price from the patient’s payment responsibility. A clinic’s quoted fee, an insurer’s approved amount and a patient’s copayment are different figures. The Medicare section refers to the United States; it should not be applied to another country’s public system or to overseas care.

Ask about rehabilitation care

What is the cost of inpatient neuro rehab per day?

Inpatient neuro rehabilitation daily charges relate to a hospital stay and its care package. NeuroFicio home physiotherapy and online support have a different format; we do not quote another hospital's rates or arrange inpatient admissions through this website.

For our services, ask the NeuroFicio team what the assessment and ongoing sessions include, whether the free offer applies and what costs extra. A hospital daily rate should not be used to estimate the fees for our home or remote care.

Does insurance cover stroke rehabilitation?

Some plans cover eligible rehabilitation, but a diagnosis alone does not establish payment. Ask the insurer to identify the benefit, network rules, authorisation requirements, exclusions and patient share for the actual provider and setting.

Give your insurer NeuroFicio's name, the treating professional details provided by our team, the country and the exact service format. Keep the insurer's written response; an assessment enquiry with us is not a guarantee of reimbursement.

  • Does my plan cover this service when provided by NeuroFicio?
  • Are referrals or prior authorisation required?
  • How are physical, occupational and speech-language therapy covered?
  • What limits, reviews or appeal processes apply?
  • Are home visits, video sessions or overseas providers included?

Does Medicare cover outpatient neurological physical therapy?

In the United States, Original Medicare Part B helps cover medically necessary outpatient physical therapy when eligibility and certification requirements are met. Medicare states there is no annual limit on payment for medically necessary outpatient therapy. That is not approval for unlimited sessions without clinical justification.

For covered Part B therapy, the usual patient share is 20% of the Medicare-approved amount after the deductible. Other coverage may affect what you pay. Ask your provider and plan about your actual costs; Medicare Advantage arrangements can differ.

Inpatient Medicare coverage is a different benefit

Medicare Part A covers eligible, medically necessary inpatient rehabilitation; Part B covers certain clinician services during the stay. Eligibility includes a need for intensive rehabilitation, medical supervision and coordinated care. Inpatient cost-sharing follows benefit-period rules rather than an outpatient per-session calculation.

Check the current Medicare page for daily amounts and benefit-period details. An inpatient rehabilitation facility is not the same as a skilled nursing facility, and their coverage rules should not be mixed together.

How long does insurance pay for stroke rehab?

Ask what clinical documentation supports continued care and when the next coverage review occurs. A plan may use authorisation periods, visit limits or other conditions. Do not assume that one relative’s funded stay predicts another patient’s entitlement.

Before self-paying, ask for written fees, review dates and cancellation terms. NeuroFicio has not established Medicare participation or insurance reimbursement on this website. For remote enquiries from abroad, confirm provider eligibility and cross-border coverage directly with your plan.
